Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for taking the time to read our FAQs. If you have a question that does not appear in our FAQs then please do not hesitate to contact us.

What exactly are seamless gutters?

These extruded aluminium gutters are made of abrasion resistant, powder coated aluminium.  A reel of aluminium is fed through our machine and is formed into the ogee profile gutter.  It is produced on-site from our van so that it will fit each section of your property perfectly. It can be produced in continuous lengths of up to 30 metres so as there are less joints you are reducing your risk of leaks meaning you will have a robust rainwater protection system for many years to come.

Call us today on 01277 595775 or 01621 776228 with any questions regarding our aluminium guttering installation.

What size is your aluminium guttering?

Our seamless ogee profile guttering is 5″ which is suitable for most houses and some commercial properties. The extruded aluminium guttering is 125mm x 90mm (125mm is the top area that catches the water and the 90mm is the back edge that sits flush to the fascia).

Box guttering or half-round guttering is available in a variety of sizes. Our guttering specialists can help you with the options available to you.

What colours are available for seamless guttering?

  • White
  • Black
  • Brown
  • Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016)
  • Green (RAL 6009)

Seamless gutters are only available in the above colours but sectional aluminium guttering can be ordered in any RAL colour of your choice.

How are the gutters attached to the property?

We use a hidden screw hanger which is drilled through the top inside of the gutter into the fascia.

What downpipe options are available to me?

We can install downpipes that are square or round.  They are either 63mm, 76mm, or 100mm in diameter.  They are available in black, white, brown, grey or green.  You can also choose from aluminium or UPVC.

How long will it take you to install new aluminium gutters or a concrete gutter liner?

Dependent on the size of the property we can usually complete our work within a day.  There may be occasions that we have to return to install downpipes etc. if we are waiting on other trades to complete their work.

When can you carry out the work?

Usually we can attend within two weeks following acceptance of our quote.

Do I need to dispose of the old gutters?

No. We will remove any waste generated whilst carrying out our work. Unless your old gutters contain asbestos; we are unable to dispose of that waste.

Do you carry out repairs of existing gutters?

We are certainly able to carry out repairs on concrete gutters by installing a new aluminium liner which is customised to your existing profile.  It may also be possible to repair your existing rainwater protection system although these repairs aren’t always successful so it may be worth investing your money in new seamless aluminium gutters.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, we do. A copy of our certificate is available on request.
